ChurchLawToday.com publishes two absolutely free email newsletters!

1. Church Law Today Update Update (Emailed twice a month on the 1st & 3rd Fridays)  Keeps you informed on legal trends and breaking developments that affect churches and church leaders. Briefs you on issues relating to church staffing, church safety, taxes and legal issues. This email newsletter is an excellent companion to our print newsletter Church Law & Tax Report

2. Church Treasurer Update (Emailed once per month on the 4th Friday). Keeps you informed on all aspects of your church’s finances. Get tax-related news, updates for church treasurers, ideas for church stewardship, and other topics to help you manage your ministry’s resources wisely. This email newsletter is an excellent companion to our print newsletter Church Finance Today

3. Weekly Lessons (Emailed out every week on Monday) As a special benefit to ChurchLawToday.com members, you’ll also receive this valuable email newsletter.  It’s unique in that it provides legal training for each person on your top-level team, in short snippets each week.  Specific lessons are provided for each of the following roles in your church:  Pastor, Board Member, Business Administrator, Youth or Children’s Leader, Treasurer/ Bookkeeper, and your regional or national Denominational Leader.  Lessons include a scenario or case study, a short interactive quiz, and an easy-to-understand breakdown of how to respond legally in similar situations. 

How to Subscribe or Unsubscribe to One or More of the Newsletters

Click on one of the two following links which best describes your status:

1. Primary Account Holders. Click on this link if the churchlawtoday.com membership was established using your email address. Typically, this is the person who set up the account. This link will enable you to obtain the account number so that secondary account holders can also subscribe. If the membership to churchlawtoday.com is for a local congregation, you may share the account number with any member of the congregation. Typically, individuals who enroll include paid staff members, church board members, and church treasurers. If the membership to churchlawtoday.com is for a denominational agency, parachurch ministry, school, or business, the primary account holder can only share the account number with other colleagues who work together in the same building.

2. Secondary Account Holders. Click on this link if the primary account holder has given you the account number to subscribe. Secondary account holders must have this account number in order to enroll. If you do not have the account number, obtain it from the primary account holder in your church or organization.
